Aug 20, 2010: Our next workshop - October 1 - 2
We are now planning the next workshop for volunteers of not-for-profit organizations. Topics include how and where to search for funds, how to write a good proposal and how to make effective budgets for different kinds of proposals.
Apr 26, 2010: May 2010 Class and Chapter Update
Hello and welcome to Saratoga County's GTU chapter. We have a few exciting items to share this month! First, there are still a handful of spaces available for our upcoming class which is scheduled for May 7-8, 2010, at Skidmore College, Harder Hall. The cost is $30 and all registrations take place online. Space is limited so please register today!
Our long-time director, Jennifer Tufano, has provided our chapter with amazing service but she is moving out of the area. But don’t count her out yet – Jennifer is now the director of Grants to You Online – Northern Adirondacks! We wish Jennifer much luck in her new positions and look forward to sharing chapter ideas in the future.

Oct 23, 2009: October class focused and motivated
October's class was high energy and motivated to do all they could for their non profit. Class participants came in with focused ideas and worked hard to locate just the right grant makers to move their non-profit forward. Thanks to everyone who participated. Hello! I am so pleased that our chapter held our largest class to date this weekend and what a diverse group it was. 17 dedicated community members came together to learn and share how better to serve our community. Thanks to all who participated.
