Our March 2010 class has been completed, and a lengthy presentation by Andy
Ferencak has deepened our attendees' knowledge of the Foundation Directory. An extra "thank you" goes out to Andy for his outstanding contributions to our community!
Oct 19, 2009: Fall 2009 Graduates 25 Volunteers--Largest to Date
Prescott College students and staff helped to fill the Oct. 2009 class, and were among the 25 volunteers who completed the 9 hours of training and are ready to assist their chosen non-profit agency with their grant research and writing. Congratulations!
Jun 15, 2008: Elizabeth Ruffner: $36,000 grant for the Prescott Elks Theater
When I was a student in your class in February I was working on a grant proposal to Arizona Public Service Company. Michael Johnsen, the corporate relations man in the Prescott office who submitted the proposal to the company, phoned last week to say we had been awarded $36,000. for the Elks Opera House restoration!
