History of Grants To You

Paul Baskin founded Grants To You (formerly Grants For You) in 2001 in order to utilize the untapped talent and availability of primarily senior citizens and students to help their favorite, local nonprofit with their never ending quest for funds by assisting them with their grant research and writing. Since that time, GTU has grown from two chapters to 15 located in the States of New York, Indiana, Georgia, California, Oklahoma, Ohio, and Arizona. Volunteer graduates have helped to win over $1,500,000 for local agencies they have selected. Grants To You is a nonprofit corporation in good standing in the State of Arizona under the name The Lifespan Foundation dba Grants To You. GTU chapters operate independently under the guidelines provided during their formation process. Each chapter has its own Advisory Council made up of local citizens who have an interest in supporting nonprofit activities. VisionImagine a world in which nonprofits have ready access to well trained and motivated volunteers to assist them in their grant research and writing efforts. Consider the community impact of agencies having fully funded programs that would improve the quality of life for all citizens. MissionGrants To You is a nonprofit, 501c3 that utilizes experienced grant writers to provide low cost, live training to volunteer-beginners who will assist their designated, local agency with their grant research and writing. Three online classes are also provided. GTU graduates earn Community Service Credits on completion of a class as well as having the ability to help their favorite, local nonprofit organization while at the same time, sharpening their research and writing skill sets.
